Accompanist: Lori Porter
Lori Porter has been the accompanist for the Ford Chorus since 2004. She is the Vocal Music Director for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Program for Livonia Public Schools. Lori holds a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's degree in Teaching from Marygrove College. She has served as the Music Director for many high school productions, including "Les Miserables", "Into the Woods", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Grease", "West Side Story", and "Beauty and the Beast". Lori has performed as both a pianist and vocalist in a wide variety of church and community venues since the age of 14. She teaches private lessons in piano and voice and was named in Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2004 and 2005. Lori is married to Jeff, her husband of 12 years and has one son, Benjamin.
